Summary Description

Keeps premises of building and service area in clean and orderly condition.  Maintains, washes and prepares motorcycles
for distribution.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Service Department Operations

   · Ability to accept and follow directions.

   · Clean and detail motorcycles to exceed customer expectations.

   · Clean parking lots, building, service area, rest rooms and other work areas.

   · Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floor.

   · Perform building maintenance as needed.

   · Dust furniture and equipment.

   · Wash windows, door panels and sills.

   · Transport small equipment or tools between departments.

   · Perform roadside emergency pick up.

   · Chauffeur customer to home or office.

   · Drive company vehicle for scheduled customer pick up and deliveries.

   · Maintain integrity of all Arizona Harley-Davidson equipment, vehicles and property.

   · Retrieve gasoline for shop use.

   · Assist Technicians with keeping the service department clean and organized.

   · Assist with motorcycle delivery and transportation.

   · Washes towels for shop use.

   · Move sales motorcycles in and out of the building as needed.

Customer Service

   · Greet external customers when appropriate, in a courteous and friendly manner.

   · Handle requests quickly, and courteously with manager’s approval.

Supervisory Responsibilities: - None

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

   · High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related                    experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

   · Valid Arizona driver’s license.

Physical Demands

   · The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

   · Requires the use of both hands.

   · Occasionally requires the ability to balance and push an 800⁺ lb. motorcycle

   · Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools, and lift 40 lb. of material.

Working Conditions:

   · Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.

   · Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic                   materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.

   · Occasionally, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
